Ramon Ramon kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Tito Borubar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Blai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Amadeo Vincent ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tito Borubar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 25th minute, Blas Oxarra made a precise shot to the right of Tito Borubar. Natural Born Killers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Amadeo Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tito Borubar having to interfere. San Martin de Tucuman's Blas Oxarra got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeo Vincent took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tito Borubar. Tito Borubar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. 43 minutes into the game, San Martin de Tucuman's Amadeo Vincent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tito Borubar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After the first half San Martin de Tucuman were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Vincent to make the kick off. The supporters of San Martin de Tucuman booed when Natural Born Killers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Borys Wawak didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Tito Borubar managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when San Martin de Tucuman's Amadeo Vincent fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Natural Born Killers's Radomir Jurgiel got a free kick in the 54th minute. In the 55th match minute, Natural Born Killers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Jurgiel to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Natural Born Killers's Tito Borubar got control of the ball when Benicio Lorien tried to sneak it across the goal line. San Martin de Tucuman's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
