In the 2nd minute Birger Kleen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Raphael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tacheros OFF's Samuel Raphael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jörgen Bjurström in the 4th minute of play. Nils Liedholm IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Camilo Ranolfo scored to the left of an out of position Ove Hake, making the score, 1-0. Samuel Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörgen Bjurström in the 11th minute of play. When Birger Kleen came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Nils Liedholm IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Birger Kleen couldn't finish the play. Dario Valente hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Edvin Bergkvist hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Ove Hake made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Ranolfo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Camilo Ranolfo fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ove Hake, passed just outside the right post. Camilo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hake having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Nils Liedholm IF's Zebastian Österlund got a free kick in the 25th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Fidensio recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ove Hake. Ambrosio Fidensio showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Jörgen Bjurström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Raphael having to interfere. When Nils Liedholm IF's Jörgen Bjurström in the 37th minute got a chance for a shot 37th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tacheros OFF's goalie prevented a goal. After 38 minutes, Jörgen Bjurström made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Tacheros OFF's Samuel Raphael tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nils Liedholm IF's goalkeeper Ove Hake, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 43 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Fidensio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nils Liedholm IF the free kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jörgen Bjurström made a kick off. After some careless play in the Nils Liedholm IF defense, Ambrosio Fidensio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ove Hake. The Nils Liedholm IF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ove Hake should have stopped the shot. After having played for 59 minutes, Ambrosio Fidensio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tacheros OFF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Fidensio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amadeo Gartxot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 63 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Fidensio. Nils Liedholm IF's Kalle Norström got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 4-2 when Jörgen Bjurström sped through Tacheros OFF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Samuel Raphael. Camilo Ranolfo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ove Hake having to interfere. After 80 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Ambrosio Fidensio. The supporters of Nils Liedholm IF booed when Tacheros OFF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Valente didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Camilo Ranolfo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Raphael showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birger Kleen, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Nils Liedholm IF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
