After a defensive mix-up in La Acade's zone, Evaristo Mello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Blai came out of the goal and Evaristo Mello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulysses Peixoto made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Marco Indar sent off a good shot on target. The ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Wilian Quadros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Tiaguinho Hermes hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Quadros in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Blai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wilian Quadros in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Blai saved La Acade from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregorio Blai during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, La Acade was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvestre Inge to maneuver through the defense. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's Ulysses Peixoto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ from getting a goal against them. In the 42nd minute, Rogério Fantini ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Blai was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Jonas Rozarius could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Ulysses Peixoto made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Nando de Queiroz made the kick off in the second half. Evaristo Mello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Juan Blai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Evaristo Mello took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Juan Blai to make any attempt to save it. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Emerson Motta got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Mello in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Blai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gregorio Blai might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ulysses Peixoto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregorio Blai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute Ildefonso Maidana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulysses Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juan Blai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Mello in the 92nd minute of the match. When Emerson Motta fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ's protests and gave Emerson Motta a yellow card for diving instead. Emerson Motta hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. ҜƗŇǤ ŁƗØŇ Ř€Đ βŁΔĆҜ played a much better game than La Acade and deserved their victory. The La Acade players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
