Spectators: 7472 (Terracing: 5605, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Fc Benefica's Christijan Oorthuis started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The crowd rose to their feet as Calle Wanner kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ferry Abbenbroek. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. In the 9th minute Karen FC were awarded a corner. Bon Guidetti went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Christijan Oorthuis hit a great ball. 11 minutes into the game, Roeland Ridder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc Benefica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Karen FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Roeland Ridder. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Bon Guidetti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karen FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bon Guidetti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ferry Abbenbroek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Karen FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Björn Söderström hit a great ball. Nathan Zegers's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bengt-Åke Smitt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Ferry Abbenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bengt-Arne Pihlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goalkeeper Ferry Abbenbroek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bon Guidetti. Jacco Swart charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacco Swart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 28 minutes, Bon Guidetti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bon Guidetti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Fc Benefica defense, Bon Guidetti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferry Abbenbroek. The Fc Benefica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferry Abbenbroek should have stopped the shot. After 40 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Zegers. 46 minutes into the match, Bon Guidetti dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ferry Abbenbroek, 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bon Guidetti to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferry Abbenbroek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Björn Söderström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 55 minutes, Bon Guidetti made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Fc Benefica's Ferry Abbenbroek tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 60 minutes into the game, Karen FC's Bengt-Arne Pihlberg nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferry Abbenbroek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Björn Söderström hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Karen FC's Bengt Bergkvist got a free kick in the 64th minute. Fc Benefica's Izaak Krijnenburg shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 65th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bengt-Åke Smitt but with some difficulty. In the 66th minute Christijan Oorthuis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt-Åke Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 67 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Jacco Swart. Fred-Marc Richter kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's goal looked a bit too open when Bon Guidetti came free, but Ferry Abbenbroek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Abbenbroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calle Wanner in the 74th minute of play. Christijan Oorthuis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute Fred-Marc Richter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Abbenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bengt-Åke Smitt acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 79th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Izaak Krijnenburg.
