The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zoltán Tímár's late challenge caught a Fc Benefica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zoltán Tímár helped the player get up and apologised. Izaak Krijnenburg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 7th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Juste Gilmore. Várdomb's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nathan Zegers during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 8 played minutes Fc Benefica got a freekick which was hit by Nathan Zegers. In the 10th minute Balázs Héj shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferry Abbenbroek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan Oorthuis came free, but Juste Gilmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sándor Szilágyi in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ferry Abbenbroek saved Fc Benefica from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Gijsbert Kromkamp got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The audience was convinced that Christijan Oorthuis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juste Gilmore was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Fc Benefica's Ferry Abbenbroek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bertold Csonka in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Kálmán Horváth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Várdomb fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Nathan Zegers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 34th match minute, Fc Benefica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theo Blikman to maneuver through the defense. Nathan Zegers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 played minutes Várdomb got a freekick which was hit by Ádám Gellért. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Christijan Oorthuis made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Kálmán Horváth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Várdomb's goalkeeper Juste Gilmore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Fc Benefica were awarded a corner in the 57th minute after Várdomb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Izaak Krijnenburg took the corner. Izaak Krijnenburg made a great header on Fc Benefica's corner, it was just that Várdomb's Juste Gilmore managed to reach the ball for a save. Juste Gilmore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nathan Zegers in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nathan Zegers in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juste Gilmore prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sándor Szilágyi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Ferry Abbenbroek made a huge save. During the 78th minute of the match Nathan Zegers completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nathan Zegers a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After a rather tough play, Fc Benefica's Nathan Zegers got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Sándor Szilágyi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ferry Abbenbroek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Bertold Csonka fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Várdomb's protests and gave Bertold Csonka a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Várdomb getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Bertold Csonka hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Fc Benefica defense, Sándor Szilágyi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferry Abbenbroek. The Fc Benefica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferry Abbenbroek should have stopped the shot. 90 minutes into the match, Várdomb's goal looked a bit too open when Christijan Oorthuis came free, but Juste Gilmore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferry Abbenbroek made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Sándor Szilágyi sent off a good shot on target. The Fc Benefica fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Várdomb were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
