With a little luck, The Skates's Osvald Albom got control of the ball when Anibal Abecia tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 7 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Xayveon Aballe. In the 8th minute Freddie Mikaelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when The Skates was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Fernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Ganix Abascal came free, but Osvald Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osvald Albom made an important save on a dangerous shot by William Álvarez in the 16th minute. The Skates's Osvald Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ganix Abascal in the 19th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Ganix Abascal came free, but Osvald Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Abecia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Osvald Albom made a huge save. Alvin Billberg charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvin Billberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Osvald Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demesio Abalos in the 29th minute of play. Osvald Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute, Ganix Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Osvald Albom. The Skates's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Nacional Potosí getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Demesio Abalos hit a great ball. Zeledon Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddie Mikaelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th match minute, The Skates was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Stenkvist to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Ganix Abascal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Osvald Albom. That made the score 3-0 in the 39 minute of play. Osvald Albom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganix Abascal in the 48th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Freddie Mikaelsson to make the kick off. The Skates's Osvald Albom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Abecia in the 51st minute of play. When Nacional Potosí's Anibal Abecia, in the 52nd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Nacional Potosí. Osvald Albom came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Anibal Abecia. But to his dismay, Anibal Abecia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. 59 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Ganix Abascal came free, but Osvald Albom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gert Bammerman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Abechuco having to interfere. Osvald Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvald Albom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ganix Abascal in the 63rd minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Ganix Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Potosí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ganix Abascal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 66th minute, Anibal Abecia made a precise shot to the right of Osvald Albom. The Skates's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 70th minute Ganix Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Osvald Albom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Abecia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ganix Abascal in the 78th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anibal Abecia scored 8-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvald Albom, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Ganix Abascal made a precise shot to the right of Osvald Albom. The Skates's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Abecia in the 88th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Osvald Albom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 minutes of play, Nacional Potosí's Anibal Abecia made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvald Albom was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute Anibal Abecia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osvald Albom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the The Skates defense, Anibal Abecia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvald Albom. The The Skates fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvald Albom should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Nacional Potosí fully deserved thier win.
