With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ángel Ortiz in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romel Villarreal saved San Roque FC from getting behind. Oinaz Abadie hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 15th minute Hector Pinilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Abechuco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Abechuco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Pinilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After 16 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Xayveon Aballe. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when San Roque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Cedeño didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 22 minutes, William Álvarez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nacional Potosí and the San Roque FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Nacional Potosí getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. William Álvarez hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Nacional Potosí defense, Rolando Spadafora kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeledon Abechuco. The Nacional Potosí fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeledon Abechuco should have stopped the shot. Demesio Abalos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. San Roque FC's Romel Villarreal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save San Roque FC from getting a goal against them. In the 37th minute Ángel Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romel Villarreal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Abechuco stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rolando Spadafora's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Álvarez got free with Romel Villarreal in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romel Villarreal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Licerio Abad in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. William Álvarez was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, San Roque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Oinaz Abadie came free, but Romel Villarreal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, Nacional Potosí's William Álvarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romel Villarreal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. 59 minutes into the match, William Álvarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romel Villarreal. San Roque FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that William Álvarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a rather tough play, San Roque FC's Hector Pinilla got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Ángel Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Potosí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ángel Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, San Roque FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Álvarez came free, but Romel Villarreal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oinaz Abadie during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Nacional Potosí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oinaz Abadie to maneuver through the defense. Romel Villarreal came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Ángel Ortiz. But to his dismay, Ángel Ortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Zeledon Abechuco made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Hector Pinilla sent off a good shot on target. 75 minutes into the game, Nicolás Navarro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. San Roque FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nacional Potosí the free kick. In the 75th match minute, San Roque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolás Navarro to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, San Roque FC's goal looked a bit too open when William Álvarez came free, but Romel Villarreal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ángel Ortiz in the 85th minute of play forced San Roque FC's goalkeeper Romel Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romel Villarreal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Romel Villarreal came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's William Álvarez. But to his dismay, William Álvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. Rolando Spadafora hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Hector Pinilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Zeledon Abechuco made a huge save. After 95 played minutes Nacional Potosí got a freekick which was hit by Demesio Abalos. Nacional Potosí's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
