An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Meireles in the 4th minute of play forced Boca Juniors's goalkeeper William Svanér to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Svanér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Borges in the 5th minute of the match. The Boca Juniors fans' excitement grew in the 8th match minute when Boca Juniors's Alexander Offendahl looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 15 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kaká Dante came free, but William Svanér reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Willian Meireles came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the MelissaMel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willian Meireles couldn't finish the play. After having played for 27 minutes, Alexander Offendahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexander Offendahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. William Svanér didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Willian Meireles went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Boca Juniors's William Svanér played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Borges in the 41st minute of play. William Svanér showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dagoberto Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Bror Kilman's late challenge caught a MelissaMel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bror Kilman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Bror Kilman hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexander Offendahl made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Willian Meireles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Svanér came out of the goal and Willian Meireles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bror Kilman got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Bror Kilman hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Boca Juniors's William Svanér proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Boca Juniors from getting a goal against them. Kaká Dante didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-2 via right post in the game's 68th minute. MelissaMel's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexander Offendahl in the 72nd minute of play forced MelissaMel's goalkeeper Olavo Dionísio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Diego Borges notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Boca Juniors's William Svanér. William Svanér was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Boca Juniors getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Per-Åke Bryngelsson hit a great ball. After 82 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Carlos de Barros. With a little luck, Boca Juniors's William Svanér got control of the ball when Diego Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but William Svanér made a huge save. In the 94th minute Willian Meireles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Svanér saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olavo Dionísio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexander Offendahl in the 95th minute of the match. When the match was over MelissaMel could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Boca Juniors throughout the match.
