Spectators: 7578 (Terracing: 5684, Seating: 1743, VIP seats: 151) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Stig-Ove Axelsson made the kick off which started today's match. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Stig-Ove Axelsson sent off a good shot on target. Walt Schräder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burkhard Niebler in the 15th minute of play forced ViHörs's goalkeeper Börge Isaksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Hamburg Fighters getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Kilian Gutrath hit a great ball. Pantaley Merodiyski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to make a save. Stig-Ove Axelsson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Matthew Jastrzembowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 26th minute, Berti Stand hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Hamburg Fighters's zone, Mattias Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Jastrzembowski came out of the goal and Mattias Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mattias Samuelsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Matthew Jastrzembowski made a huge save. Rudolf Aschenbrenner hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Stig-Ove Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ViHörs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Axelsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hugo Thorsberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Stig-Ove Axelsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ViHörs getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Hjalmar Påk hit a great ball. Hugo Thorsberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Jastrzembowski having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Burkhard Niebler was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute ViHörs were awarded a corner. Pantaley Merodiyski went to the cornerflag to take it. 69 minutes into the game, ViHörs's Stig-Ove Axelsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Walt Schräder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Börge Isaksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernd Schimmel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Börge Isaksson made a huge save. Hamburg Fighters's Bernd Schimmel came free and shot a quick shot against goal 74 minutes in the game, fortunately Börge Isaksson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. After a rather tough play, ViHörs's Karl-Johan Bergendahl got a free kick in the 75th minute. When Berti Stand came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Hamburg Fighters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berti Stand couldn't finish the play. Matthew Jastrzembowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Ove Axelsson in the 81st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Stig-Ove Axelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Jastrzembowski was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. In the 94thth minute of the game Stig-Ove Axelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hamburg Fighters's Matthew Jastrzembowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When ViHörs's Stig-Ove Axelsson in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hamburg Fighters's goalie prevented a goal. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
