Matthew Jastrzembowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. With his leg Matthew Jastrzembowski managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when MelissaMel's Diego Borges fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Rudolf Aschenbrenner kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Burkhard Niebler got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Diego Borges had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diego Borges made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Dagoberto Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Burkhard Niebler in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olavo Dionísio saved MelissaMel from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernd Schimmel got free with Olavo Dionísio in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. MelissaMel's Olavo Dionísio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save MelissaMel from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernd Schimmel got free with Olavo Dionísio in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, MelissaMel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilton Bertassi to maneuver through the defense.
