Olavo Dionísio was a little too slow when Luís Gustavo Cruz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 1-0. Luís Gustavo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olavo Dionísio having to interfere. Thiago Pinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, MelissaMel's Diego Borges sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hyper9 -DMZ-'s Thiago Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Borges in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to MelissaMel getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Wilton Bertassi hit a great ball.

Diego Borges struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Thiago Pinho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MelissaMel. Dagoberto Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Thiago Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thiago Pinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Borges in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Diego Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 played minutes MelissaMel got a freekick which was hit by Dagoberto Fonseca. Kaká Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorginho Loureiro got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Jorginho Loureiro hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match.
