Bajen's Arne Emander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinei Goiano in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Couto in the 14th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Leonel Couto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Wambalamba FC's zone, Allan Ström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Naldo Mello came out of the goal and Allan Ström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arne Emander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinei Goiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. The audience was convinced that Hamílton Campidelis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arne Emander was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 24th minute Wambalamba FC were awarded a corner. Dinei Goiano went to the cornerflag to take it. After 25 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Couto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamílton Campidelis in the 27th minute of play forced Bajen's goalkeeper Arne Emander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Allan Ström in the 29th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Allan Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The crowd rose to their feet as Allan Ström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Naldo Mello. That made the score 1-1 in the 51 minute of play. Dinei Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Renato Lago hit a great ball. Arne Emander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 76 minutes, Leo Kuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bajen and the Wambalamba FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Leo Kuse. Allan Ström kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Leonel Couto got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 81 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Couto. Anders Överman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hamílton Campidelis to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir de Queiroz. Allan Ström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Överman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-2 to the left of a surprised Naldo Mello 91 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute, Adhemar da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Arne Emander. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
