Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dinei Goiano kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute, Dinei Goiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wambalamba FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Naldo Mello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alekos Korakakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adhemar da Fonseca in the 14th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, Wambalamba FC's goal looked a bit too open when Petros Giannakis came free, but Naldo Mello reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes in the game, Leonel Couto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ilias Peristeropoulos having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Wambalamba FC's Hamílton Campidelis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ilias Peristeropoulos. Ilias Peristeropoulos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Diogenis Priovolos got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Petros Giannakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Naldo Mello was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Naldo Mello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petros Giannakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. In the 46th minute Dinei Goiano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Peristeropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Diogenis Priovolos was the one to do the kick off. Naldo Mello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Thrasivoulos Moisiadis in the 52nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Panos Mastrantoniou during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 53 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Panos Mastrantoniou. In the 58th minute, Wambalamba FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thrasivoulos Moisiadis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. A collision led to ΠΑΟΚ FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Thomas Papagiotopoulos hit a great ball. Ilias Peristeropoulos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dinei Goiano went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dimitris Skevofilakas to maneuver through the defense. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Belmiro Cerezo in the 71st minute of the match. After 77 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Goiano. In the 79th match minute, ΠΑΟΚ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stavros Symeonatos to maneuver through the defense. Wambalamba FC were furious when Lúcio Pinho was red carded, 84 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Wambalamba FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Lúcio Pinho hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar da Fonseca in the 88th minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Ilias Peristeropoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Anestis Kapataidakis got a free kick in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petros Giannakis in the 96th minute of play forced Wambalamba FC's goalkeeper Naldo Mello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wambalamba FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while ΠΑΟΚ FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
