Naldo Mello didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Barral went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dinei Goiano in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xandinho Bomba prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17thth minute of the game Dinei Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's zone, Adhemar da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xandinho Bomba came out of the goal and Adhemar da Fonseca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ booed when Wambalamba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lúcio Pinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wambalamba FC's Naldo Mello proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Wambalamba FC from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kauan Soares during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th match minute, Wambalamba FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Soares to maneuver through the defense. Elias Marquez's late challenge caught a Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias Marquez helped the player get up and apologised. After 38 played minutes Wambalamba FC got a freekick which was hit by Elias Marquez. The long shot by Paulo Brito in the 39th minute really tested Naldo Mello's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvério Barral made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Adhemar da Fonseca made a precise shot to the right of Xandinho Bomba. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Silvério Barral kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ made a substitution. Renato Augusto replaced Adriano Capixaba. After 57 played minutes Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Silvério Barral. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Gugu Silva sped through Wambalamba FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naldo Mello. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Giuseppe da Costa was substituted for Silvério Barral. In the 73rd minute, Hamílton Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo Brito hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Giuseppe da Costa scored 4-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Naldo Mello, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paulo Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Naldo Mello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hugo Mangueira hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Naldo Mello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gugu Silva's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. In the 89th minute, Adhemar da Fonseca reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Xandinho Bomba. The goal made the score 4-2. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's Xandinho Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar da Fonseca in the 95th minute of play. Jaraguá do Sul FSCMZ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
