Spectators: 7618 (Terracing: 5714, Seating: 1752, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. João Vilas Boas started the match with the kick off. Artur Walczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vilas Boas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Artur Walczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Varela in the 12th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Mauda got a freekick which was hit by Marek Rykaczewski. Jairo Calçada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Antoszewski in the 26th minute of play. Durval Guterres hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jairo Calçada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benedykt Palzewicz in the 32nd minute of the match. Marek Rykaczewski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Mauda's Artur Walczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerónimo Sabrosa in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Benedykt Palzewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Krzysztof Mios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jairo Calçada. Minho FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krzysztof Mios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The Minho FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mauda were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Krzysztof Mios to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Mauda's goal looked a bit too open when João Vilas Boas came free, but Artur Walczyk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artur Walczyk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Varela in the 61st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Minho FC's Emanuel Barata got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Krzysztof Mios sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Caio Ponte kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Benedykt Palzewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Krzysztof Mios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Jairo Calçada made a huge save. Minho FC's Marco Varela got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Minho FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
