Edgar Piszczor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caio Ponte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Emílio Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Minho FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emílio Almeida couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Emílio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Vilas Boas in the 18th minute of play. Minho FC's Emílio Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by João Vilas Boas in the 21st minute of play forced Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Varela took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgar Piszczor. Edgar Piszczor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. João Vilas Boas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Edgar Piszczor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jadymy Durś getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Walery Ludzia hit a great ball. Jadymy Durś's Edgar Piszczor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Varela in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute Minho FC were awarded a corner. Caio Ponte went to the cornerflag to take it. After 35 minutes, Sidónio Marinho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minho FC and the Jadymy Durś players grew even worse after the yellow card. Edgar Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The Minho FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Minho FC's Marco Varela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. João Vilas Boas struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Edgar Piszczor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minho FC. Marco Varela scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgar Piszczor, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Minho FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bartosz Komanski to strike the kick off in the second half. Marco Varela's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Edgar Piszczor skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 55th minute João Vilas Boas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edgar Piszczor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caio Ponte, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, João Vilas Boas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Piszczor was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. 65 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goal looked a bit too open when João Vilas Boas came free, but Edgar Piszczor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Minho FC's goalkeeper Jairo Calçada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Minho FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Caio Ponte hit a great ball. If João Vilas Boas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fryderyk Dobrzechowski kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Jadymy Durś's zone, Marco Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal and Marco Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Vilas Boas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Piszczor having to interfere. Edgar Piszczor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Vilas Boas, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Filinto Teixeira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgar Piszczor came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Minho FC's João Vilas Boas. But to his dismay, João Vilas Boas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The audience was convinced that Filinto Teixeira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgar Piszczor was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 90 minutes into the match, Jadymy Durś's goalkeeper Edgar Piszczor had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marco Varela. Marco Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
