After 5 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Sidónio Marinho. Krzysztof Mios's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 6thth minute, Jairo Calçada skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Artur Walczyk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vilas Boas in the 10th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Krzysztof Mios got free with Jairo Calçada in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the game, Januário Cavaco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Artur Walczyk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 26 played minutes Minho FC got a freekick which was hit by Egídio Loureiro. Cezary Antoszewski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jairo Calçada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Mauda's Cezary Antoszewski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jairo Calçada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Krzysztof Mios in the 36thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jairo Calçada, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Artur Walczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marco Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Witomir Pyrzyce hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mauda's Artur Walczyk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Ponte in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Vilas Boas was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Mauda getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Michal Puszynski hit a great ball. Jairo Calçada showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cezary Antoszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Caio Ponte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Walczyk having to interfere. Minho FC's Emílio Almeida got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jairo Calçada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Palzewicz in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Krzysztof Mios in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jairo Calçada saved Minho FC from getting behind. Cezary Antoszewski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Calçada having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Marco Varela took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Artur Walczyk to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Varela in the 84th minute of play forced Mauda's goalkeeper Artur Walczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. João Vilas Boas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Artur Walczyk having to make a save. After 93 minutes, Witomir Pyrzyce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mauda and the Minho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mauda getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Witomir Pyrzyce hit a great ball. When the match was over Minho FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Mauda throughout the match.
