When 郭朗俊 fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 拜耳04勒沃库森's protests and gave 郭朗俊 a yellow card for diving instead. 郭朗俊 kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦建浩 in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goalkeeper Sílvio Zonta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 郭朗俊. Sílvio Zonta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 郭朗俊 in the 15th minute of the match. 拜耳04勒沃库森's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by 麦建浩 in the 17th minute. A nice corner shot did that 麦建浩 got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sílvio Zonta quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, 拜耳04勒沃库森's Johnny Berggren got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Jano Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 周烽宁, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When 董夕岚 fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 拜耳04勒沃库森's protests and gave 董夕岚 a yellow card for diving instead. Valdir Peres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 麦建浩 kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. 冰谷 姚明 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Peres in the 39th minute of play. The supporters of 拜耳04勒沃库森 booed when TAQUARI FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 42 minutes into the match, TAQUARI FC's goal looked a bit too open when 邓乐翔 came free, but Sílvio Zonta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 邓乐翔 kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Queiroz to make the kick off. 拜耳04勒沃库森 were awarded a corner in the 55th minute after TAQUARI FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 麦建浩 took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in 叶风帆 heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 57 minutes into the game, 麦建浩 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Sílvio Zonta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. TAQUARI FC's Sílvio Zonta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 麦建浩 in the 61st minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, 拜耳04勒沃库森's goalkeeper 冰谷 姚明 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdir Peres. The audience was convinced that 周烽宁's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sílvio Zonta was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 冰谷 姚明 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdir Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sílvio Zonta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 邓乐翔, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Jano Motta hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sílvio Zonta came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by 拜耳04勒沃库森's 姚鹏镇. But to his dismay, 姚鹏镇 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 拜耳04勒沃库森 fans cheered their team off the field, for while TAQUARI FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
