In the 8th minute of the match, 麦建浩 got a very nice opportunity to score, but Elano Travassos was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th play minute 麦建浩 came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elano Travassos. 1-0. Mateus Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 冰谷 姚明 having to interfere. 冰谷 姚明 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Nicholas in the 22nd minute of play. In the 26th minute, Filomeno Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 30 minutes into the game, 周烽宁 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Elano Travassos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 37th minute Johnny Berggren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elano Travassos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elano Travassos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but 麦建浩 showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 38 minute of play. 麦建浩 succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 4-0 in the 41st playminute. 45 minutes into the match, 周烽宁 notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos. Elano Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Wilton de Amaral was the one to do the kick off. If Filomeno Nicholas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Santiago Starnes during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karaboudjan getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Santiago Starnes hit a great ball. 麦建浩 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elano Travassos. Karaboudjan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evaristo Tolino kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Refik Cumhur struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. 冰谷 姚明 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karaboudjan. 60 minutes into the game, 拜耳04勒沃库森's 邓乐翔 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elano Travassos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. 64 minutes into the match, 麦建浩 notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Karaboudjan's Elano Travassos. Elano Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elano Travassos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 麦建浩 went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Aílton Simões lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Simões. 拜耳04勒沃库森's 姚鹏镇 was substituted for 周烽宁. In the 80th match minute, Karaboudjan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aílton Simões to maneuver through the defense. 麦建浩 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 81st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elano Travassos. Karaboudjan's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Elano Travassos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 麦建浩, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Filomeno Nicholas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the game, Filomeno Nicholas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaboudjan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 拜耳04勒沃库森 the free kick. After 89 played minutes Karaboudjan got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Nicholas. Elano Travassos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 麦建浩, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 拜耳04勒沃库森 had won after a very even match.
