Antônio Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 邓乐翔 in the 24th minute of play. Carlinhos Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Cesinha Lago took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 26th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Antônio Rezende. C.A Gryffindor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when 周烽宁 made the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as 拜耳04勒沃库森's Cesinha Lago slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Antônio Rezende. The C.A Gryffindor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. 拜耳04勒沃库森 were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
