The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, FC SZAFIRY's Bogumil Gajewski got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Russówek's Stasio Prusinowski got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 5 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper Feliks Wielkopolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrzej Solibieda. Feliks Wielkopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Piotr Adamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Pozorski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Feliks Wielkopolski, 1-0. Jacek Koprowski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lech Nakoneczny having to make a save. Russówek's Tadeusz Pozorski was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 21st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 24th minute Piotr Adamus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feliks Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrzej Solibieda in the 25th minute of the match. Tadeusz Pozorski had several of the FC SZAFIRY's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 3-0 score and a disappointed Feliks Wielkopolski as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 29th minute Tadeusz Pozorski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feliks Wielkopolski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC SZAFIRY's Feliks Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrzej Solibieda in the 34th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, FC SZAFIRY's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Pliszka came free, but Feliks Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Piotr Adamus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Feliks Wielkopolski. In the 60th match minute, Russówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napoleon Hludzenski to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of FC SZAFIRY booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Pozorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The supporters of Russówek booed when FC SZAFIRY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogumil Gajewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Solibieda in the 77th minute of play. Tadeusz Pozorski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Wielkopolski having to interfere. Feliks Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Pliszka in the 83rd minute of the match. Andrzej Solibieda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliks Wielkopolski having to interfere. Andrzej Solibieda charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrzej Solibieda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th minute, Andrzej Solibieda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliks Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrzej Solibieda in the 89th minute of play. Feliks Wielkopolski came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Russówek's Piotr Adamus. But to his dismay, Piotr Adamus quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. In the 96th minute, Jerzy Pliszka hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. There was no doubt that Russówek were the better team. Russówek's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
