Aureliusz Fronczak made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Piotrków Trybunalski players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Duri come il marmo were winning 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bianco De Lellis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Piotrków Trybunalski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Mentus to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Edmondo Ranalli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aureliusz Fronczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo in the 73rd minute of play. 0-7 became the score in the 75th minute when Fulvio Di Crescenzo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A hard shot 81 in the game by Francesco Locatelli from a close distance when the talented Aureliusz Fronczak managed to make a qualified save. Piotrków Trybunalski's players were relieved. Aureliusz Fronczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulvio Di Crescenzo, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Aureliusz Fronczak came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Duri come il marmo's Fulvio Di Crescenzo. But to his dismay, Fulvio Di Crescenzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. If Kacper Domala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mieszko Czysta during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Piotrków Trybunalski's Aureliusz Fronczak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Piotrków Trybunalski from getting a goal against them. Duri come il marmo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
