After the first half Piotrków Trybunalski were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Radowit Gdaniec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Mieszko Czysta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Feliks Wielkopolski. Mieszko Czysta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Aureliusz Fronczak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Gdaniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Radowit Gdaniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Aureliusz Fronczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kacper Domala succeeded in the game's 62nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacek Koprowski in the 65th minute of play forced Piotrków Trybunalski's goalkeeper Aureliusz Fronczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Piotrków Trybunalski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC SZAFIRY the free kick. Jacek Koprowski hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Boleslaw Rydzyk took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 87th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Feliks Wielkopolski. FC SZAFIRY's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ludomir Debowski hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Piotrków Trybunalski's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
