Duri come il marmo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kind of Blue the free kick. A collision led to Duri come il marmo getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Dennis Lucidi hit a great ball. After 13 minutes of play, Duri come il marmo's Bianco De Lellis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eddie Alebeck was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fedele Gentili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eddie Sandell in the 19th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Duri come il marmo's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Henriksson came free, but Fedele Gentili reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duri come il marmo's Fedele Gentili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Knut Blom in the 27th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Eddie Sandell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fedele Gentili. Duri come il marmo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eddie Sandell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 39th minute, Knut Blom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Duri come il marmo's Bianco De Lellis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eddie Alebeck made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Kind of Blue's Eddie Sandell got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francesco Locatelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eddie Alebeck made a huge save. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eddie Sandell to make the kick off. Eddie Alebeck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Locatelli in the 56th minute of the match. When Edmondo Ranalli came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Duri come il marmo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmondo Ranalli couldn't finish the play. If Eddie Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duri come il marmo made a substitution. Fulvio Di Crescenzo replaced Edmondo Ranalli. Knut Blom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fredric Botvidsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fedele Gentili having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Duri come il marmo's Bianco De Lellis got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute of the match, Eddie Sandell tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fedele Gentili saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the game, Eddie Sandell cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fedele Gentili was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kind of Blue's Eddie Alebeck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bianco De Lellis in the 84th minute of play. Fedele Gentili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eddie Sandell, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
