Seating: 1754, VIP seats: 152) Gartzen Pons made the kick off and thus started the match. Yvan Poets came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by GreenUnited's Gartzen Pons. But to his dismay, Gartzen Pons quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Xalbador Gamiz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jan Melkval's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. The audience was convinced that Jan Melkval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xalbador Gamiz was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 15th minute, Ive Custermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. GreenUnited's Xalbador Gamiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Melkval in the 17th minute of play. Yvan Poets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guaberto Reigada in the 24th minute of the match. Xalbador Gamiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Melkval, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, David Dekeyser notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of GreenUnited's Xalbador Gamiz. Xalbador Gamiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gartzen Pons charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gartzen Pons the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Gartzen Pons. Xalbador Gamiz acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Erwin-Alexander Peters. Yvan Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gartzen Pons, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute, Florencio Antoniano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Melkval in the 46th minute of play forced GreenUnited's goalkeeper Xalbador Gamiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Jan Melkval made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, All Stars Gent's Yvan Poets got control of the ball when Gartzen Pons tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ive Custermans charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ive Custermans the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in All Stars Gent's zone, Gartzen Pons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yvan Poets came out of the goal and Gartzen Pons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Yvan Poets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batista Liebana in the 63rd minute of the match. Jan Melkval received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Xalbador Gamiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Jan Melkval put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Xalbador Gamiz. Yvan Poets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Liebana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andreas Meynen during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When David Dekeyser came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the All Stars Gent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Dekeyser couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan Melkval in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xalbador Gamiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When All Stars Gent's Jan Melkval in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GreenUnited's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Jan Melkval's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Xalbador Gamiz was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. After 93 played minutes GreenUnited got a freekick which was hit by Elija Andres.
