The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ilmar Kaasik charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ilmar Kaasik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of All Stars Gent booed when TSC Tartu Seminar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilmar Kaasik didn't get a good kick on the ball. TSC Tartu Seminar's Kajar Nurk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Dekeyser in the 7th minute of play. All Stars Gent's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Brecht Van Beneden in the 10th minute. Kajar Nurk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Dekeyser in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, TSC Tartu Seminar's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Melkval came free, but Kajar Nurk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Steffe Pancken fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored All Stars Gent's protests and gave Steffe Pancken a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TSC Tartu Seminar booed when All Stars Gent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steffe Pancken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cederique Biermans made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by TSC Tartu Seminar's Kaspar Jaani. With his leg Yvan Poets managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when TSC Tartu Seminar's Lennart Alle fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. TSC Tartu Seminar's Lennart Alle was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 23rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Brecht Van Beneden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yvan Poets made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kalvi Otsatalu in the 53rd minute of play. If Brecht Van Beneden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TSC Tartu Seminar's Kajar Nurk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan Melkval in the 62nd minute of play. Kajar Nurk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Melkval, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 64 minutes of play, All Stars Gent's Brecht Van Beneden made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kajar Nurk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kajar Nurk was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Jan Melkval capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jan Melkval really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. After 71 minutes, Lennart Alle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TSC Tartu Seminar and the All Stars Gent players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, TSC Tartu Seminar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Alle to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Melkval in the 73rd minute of play forced TSC Tartu Seminar's goalkeeper Kajar Nurk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, TSC Tartu Seminar's goalkeeper Kajar Nurk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Dekeyser. Jan Melkval's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Kajar Nurk skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 80th minute Jan Melkval shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kajar Nurk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kajar Nurk made an important save on a dangerous shot by David Dekeyser in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan Melkval in the 88th minute of play forced TSC Tartu Seminar's goalkeeper Kajar Nurk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kajar Nurk made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when David Dekeyser sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, All Stars Gent's Henry Dewinter got a free kick in the 90th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched All Stars Gent eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
