Poetass FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamim Guedes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stan Hagemans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edwin Jennes charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ricky Meijers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Cássio de Senna made a huge save. 66 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricky Meijers. VC zoetwater's Stan Hagemans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Saldanha in the 70th minute of play. After 75 played minutes Poetass FC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Penha. Ricky Meijers succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-3. Claudinho Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Stan Hagemans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Poetass FC.
