Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Leguizamón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vicente Elija fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio de Senna having to interfere. After 26 played minutes FrenaHayBache got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Abella. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when FrenaHayBache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernabe Orlondon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geronimo Montez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudinho Saldanha went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to FrenaHayBache getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Hugo Abajas hit a great ball. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hugo Abajas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Poetass FC's zone, Hugo Abajas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio de Senna came out of the goal and Hugo Abajas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Ciro Leguizamón was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FrenaHayBache's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poetass FC the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Ciro Leguizamón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Olavo Carioca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Geronimo Montez made a huge save. 48 minutes into the match, Poetass FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Elija came free, but Cássio de Senna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Poetass FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FrenaHayBache were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ciro Leguizamón was the one to do the kick off. Hugo Abajas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Elija was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 55th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Poetass FC's goalkeeper Cássio de Senna, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 60 minutes of play FrenaHayBache's Ciro Leguizamón was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Ciro Leguizamón hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute, FrenaHayBache's Amadeo Guillem dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The supporters of Poetass FC booed when FrenaHayBache was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulgencio Policarpio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cássio de Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cássio de Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hugo Abajas in the 74th minute. Vicente Elija's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cássio de Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Amadeo Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. FrenaHayBache's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio de Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Hugo Abajas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FrenaHayBache's Vicente Elija got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Amadeo Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the FrenaHayBache fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Guillem couldn't finish the play.
