The coaching staff of KS Olimpia Warszawa protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tymoteusz Podowski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 18 minutes into the game, one of KS Olimpia Warszawa:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 20 minutes of play, Kickers United's Robbrecht Jonckers made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Miromir Zukowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kryspin Mitus scored 1-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Stanny Helssens, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Kickers United booed when KS Olimpia Warszawa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikolaj Kazczyk didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goal looked a bit too open when Jannic Van Cruchten came free, but Miromir Zukowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Kickers United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Olimpia Warszawa were winning 1-3.
