Miguel Carneiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofil Tamulewicz in the 8th minute of play. When Salvador Sobral fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stars Academy's protests and gave Salvador Sobral a yellow card for diving instead. In the 9th match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Sobral to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Carneiro had great luck who in the 10thth minute grab hold of the ball when Teofil Tamulewicz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Américo Albuquerque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Bento Perdigão. Stars Academy's Américo Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 34 played minutes Stars Academy got a freekick which was hit by Bento Perdigão. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofil Tamulewicz in the 37th minute of play forced Stars Academy's goalkeeper Miguel Carneiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludomir Walaszkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Stars Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bento Perdigão to maneuver through the defense. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Tamulewicz in the 54th minute of play. With a little luck, Gliwicka Torcida's Lucjan Furgat got control of the ball when Bento Perdigão tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Stars Academy getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Bento Perdigão hit a great ball. Miguel Carneiro came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Gliwicka Torcida's Daniel Niezywy. But to his dismay, Daniel Niezywy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Miguel Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludomir Walaszkiewicz in the 89th minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Gliwicka Torcida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Tamulewicz to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Gliwicka Torcida booed when Stars Academy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Máximo Baía didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stars Academy's Miguel Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teofil Tamulewicz in the 96th minute of play. Stars Academy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
