Viktor Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorival de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Gösta Lindström's late challenge caught a ECS FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gösta Lindström helped the player get up and apologised. Hampus Gunnarsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to ECS FK getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Marcelo Linares hit a great ball. Vitório Berger made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Gösta Lindström sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Rossi in the 27th minute of play forced SE7EN's goalkeeper Viktor Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, SE7EN's Vitório Berger threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hampus Gunnarsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 36 played minutes ECS FK got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Hermes. When the match had gone on for 44 minutes, Gösta Lindström took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Vitório Berger to make any attempt to save it.

ECS FK made a substitution. Célio Baiano replaced João Augusto Araújo. 54 minutes into the match, Célio Baiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Viktor Berggren, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Rossi in the 58th minute of play forced SE7EN's goalkeeper Viktor Berggren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ECS FK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Zézinho Hermes hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind ECS FK's goalkeeper Vitório Berger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as ECS FK's Célio Baiano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Viktor Berggren. That made the score 1-2 after 63 minutes of play. If Vágner Rossi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Célio Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the ECS FK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Célio Baiano couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, Olof Melberg was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SE7EN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ECS FK the free kick. Célio Baiano kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The SE7EN fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. ECS FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
