The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Spor Las Huevas got a freekick which was hit by Jabier Garavito. Berbiz Gobantes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Cebrian Trinidad, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dominguez Vizcaino kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Osvald Ahlstedt was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute, Gilbert Åkesson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Norrlands Athen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Jabier Garavito's late challenge caught a Norrlands Athen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jabier Garavito helped the player get up and apologised. After 24 played minutes Spor Las Huevas got a freekick which was hit by Jabier Garavito. Cebrian Trinidad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilbert Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goal looked a bit too open when Gilbert Åkesson came free, but Cebrian Trinidad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cebrian Trinidad showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Spor Las Huevas's Cebrian Trinidad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Andreasson in the 36th minute of play. Spor Las Huevas's Cebrian Trinidad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rickard Andreasson in the 52nd minute of play. Rickard Andreasson came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cebrian Trinidad could save by the left post. 56 minutes into the match, Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Cebrian Trinidad had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Andreasson. Spor Las Huevas's Cebrian Trinidad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. Lars-Erik Wall scored 0-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cebrian Trinidad, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Norrlands Athen booed when Spor Las Huevas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Quirze Lizana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Spor Las Huevas's Cebrian Trinidad proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Spor Las Huevas from getting a goal against them. Mede Torriba hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Cebrian Trinidad made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Rickard Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. Cebrian Trinidad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincent Molin in the 91st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rickard Andreasson in the 93rd minute of play forced Spor Las Huevas's goalkeeper Cebrian Trinidad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle sounded Norrlands Athen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Spor Las Huevas.
