Wesley Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Faas Marsal's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. The supporters of Zuera Never End MZC booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Linhares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wesley Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Renato Guimarães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Thomás Tepedino hit a great ball. Renato Guimarães sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Faas Marsal's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wesley Meira was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Faas Marsal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Meira. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wesley Meira should have stopped the shot. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulo Renato Linhares to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Oscar Prestes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Wesley Meira. Oscar Prestes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 56 played minutes Maverick Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Abraão. With his leg Wesley Meira managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Zuera Never End MZC's Faas Marsal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The Zuera Never End MZC fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Zuera Never End MZC's Faas Marsal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Válter Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Duda Arce ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wesley Meira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. Wesley Meira made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Faas Marsal sent off a good shot on target. In the 86th minute of the match, Faas Marsal got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wesley Meira was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zuera Never End MZC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
