In the 7th minute, Gösta Lindström got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Paulo Renato Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, SE7EN's Helge Kullgren got a free kick in the 13th minute. A collision led to Maverick Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Olívio Teles hit a great ball. Paul Grönberg hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 21 minutes SE7EN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. Gösta Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the game, Gösta Lindström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Wesley Meira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Maverick Futebol Clube defense, Tobias Möllgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wesley Meira. The Maverick Futebol Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wesley Meira should have stopped the shot. Tobias Möllgren struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Wesley Meira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SE7EN. When the referee ended the match the SE7EN players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
