If Rigoberto Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th minute, Jorge Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Davide Di Nunzio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Baldomiro Maria was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davide Di Nunzio was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ennio Croce fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Baldomiro Maria, passed just outside the right post. Rigoberto Manni charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rigoberto Manni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Franco Albanesi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Americo Hernandez in the 78th minute of the match. Sao Brasola's Fulvio Faiella managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godofredo Quirce in the 85 minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Americo Hernandez in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Franco Albanesi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sao Brasola had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
