When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Abdulkerim Sebat put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Radoslaw Miarka. The supporters of Anatolia FC booed when Astral was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Faron didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 29 played minutes Anatolia FC got a freekick which was hit by Alparslan Acar. 30 minutes into the match, Astral's Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Haluk Sarıcabay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Anatolia FC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Ahmet İlke Aymaz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Astral's Borys Skaradowski got a free kick in the 39th minute. With a little luck, Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay got control of the ball when Borys Skaradowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

If Beniamin Gargasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz in the 56th minute of play forced Anatolia FC's goalkeeper Haluk Sarıcabay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Astral's Radoslaw Miarka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Astral from getting a goal against them. Haluk Sarıcabay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Borys Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borys Skaradowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haluk Sarıcabay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Borys Skaradowski notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Anatolia FC's Haluk Sarıcabay. Haluk Sarıcabay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 81 played minutes Anatolia FC got a freekick which was hit by Macit Barkın. Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haluk Sarıcabay. Haluk Sarıcabay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 87th minute of the match Astral got a corner. Anatolia FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Borys Skaradowski ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Astral's Borys Skaradowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Haluk Sarıcabay despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 91 played minutes Anatolia FC got a freekick which was hit by Ramazan Ersan. Astral's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
