When Borys Skaradowski came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Astral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Borys Skaradowski couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Astral's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Félix came free, but Radoslaw Miarka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Figueira SC FSCMZ's Gino Hoffmann got control of the ball when Wit Damaski tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Evandro do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Meira might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Radoslaw Miarka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evaristo Meira ran back to his position shaking his head. Radoslaw Miarka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovani Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Radoslaw Miarka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Meira in the 46th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Borys Skaradowski made the kick off in the second half. Afonsinho Donatello kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Wit Damaski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Hoffmann having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Radoslaw Miarka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evandro do Valle hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Gino Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eugeniusz Bulkiewicz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Figueira SC FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
