Reine Pettersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gilvan de Lara's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute Nando Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reine Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reine Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ. 46 minutes into the match, Ulisses Marquez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Reine Pettersson. Preator Edikt's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulisses Marquez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The wind increased when Nils-Erik Sundberg made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Hamílton Tepedino managed to get in a good position for a shot. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Tepedino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulisses Marquez couldn't finish the play.
