After 5 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Helge Bokelund. After 7 minutes Preator Edikt's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joachim Hägglund who took care of the corner kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stefan Hultin got free with Reine Pettersson in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 12 minutes into the game, Manfred Danielsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Reine Pettersson. Manfred Danielsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joachim Hägglund, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nils-Erik Sundberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Jansson having to interfere. If Peder Karlberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reine Pettersson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joachim Hägglund's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Preator Edikt's zone, Stefan Hultin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Pettersson came out of the goal and Stefan Hultin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Trixande Fåglar BK getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Joachim Hägglund hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Preator Edikt's zone, Stefan Hultin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reine Pettersson came out of the goal and Stefan Hultin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Preator Edikt's defense didn't have a chance, in the 47th minute, when Joachim Hägglund scored to the left of an out of position Reine Pettersson, making the score, 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nils-Erik Sundberg to make the kick off. Olof Östman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stefan Hultin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Reine Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the game, Helge Bokelund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Preator Edikt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trixande Fåglar BK the free kick. After 60 played minutes Preator Edikt got a freekick which was hit by Helge Bokelund. Joachim Hägglund might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reine Pettersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joachim Hägglund ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 67th minute Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Jansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trixande Fåglar BK's Arvid Jansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 74th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trixande Fåglar BK's Joar Mellbad got a free kick in the 74th minute. Trixande Fåglar BK made a substitution. Tommy Skoglund replaced Manfred Danielsson. After 75 played minutes Trixande Fåglar BK got a freekick which was hit by Joar Mellbad. Reine Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stefan Hultin, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Arvid Jansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olof Östman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arvid Jansson came out of the goal and Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arvid Jansson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Jens-Ove Ambjörnsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Rönn's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Reine Pettersson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Preator Edikt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Trixande Fåglar BK.
