After 8 minutes of play, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Dudu Sanches made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilson Dracena was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to SE Palmeiras getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Zé Augusto Luz hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Hamílton Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nilson Dracena showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ's Hamílton Tepedino got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Ulisses Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SE Palmeiras's goalkeeper Nilson Dracena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 24 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's goal looked a bit too open when Ulisses Marquez came free, but Nilson Dracena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, SE Palmeiras's Basílio do Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thomás Vides narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Marquez to strike the kick off in the second half. Nilson Dracena made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Nando Abraão sent off a good shot on target. Thomás Vides came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by SE Palmeiras's Basílio do Valle. But to his dismay, Basílio do Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. With a little luck, SE Palmeiras's Nilson Dracena got control of the ball when Dudu Sanches tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nilson Dracena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilvan de Lara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 67 minutes, Basílio do Valle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palmeiras and the AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ booed when SE Palmeiras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AS Maraschin Calcio CIMZ played a much better game than SE Palmeiras and deserved their victory. The SE Palmeiras players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
