Cafu Amaral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivo Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rémy Peralta charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rémy Peralta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Juan Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson de Almeida took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Diamantino Catarinense. Guará FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 24th minute, Célio da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luís Gustavo Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Cafu Amaral made a huge save. Luís Gustavo Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cafu Amaral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Juan Ceresso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hudson de Godoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diamantino Catarinense having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ivo Figueiredo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cafu Amaral was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. 36 minutes into the game, Guará FC's Ivo Figueiredo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cafu Amaral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The supporters of Guará FC booed when LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hudson de Godoi in the 46th minute of the match. When LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Hudson de Godoi in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luís Gustavo Gerber might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cafu Amaral. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Gustavo Gerber ran back to his position shaking his head. Ivo Figueiredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the game, Ivo Figueiredo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cafu Amaral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Guará FC's Luís Gustavo Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 83 minutes into the game, Hudson de Godoi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guará FC the free kick.
