Diamantino Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Afonso Baiano in the 9th minute of the match. Igor Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Gustavo Gerber in the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Baiano got free with Diamantino Catarinense in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, Guará FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Afonso Baiano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 35 minutes of play, Guará FC's Rômulo de Sena made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Igor Camargo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Villa Verde FC's Igor Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliézer Eger in the 38th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonso Baiano got free with Diamantino Catarinense in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ivo Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Guará FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. The Villa Verde FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guará FC were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Luís Gustavo Gerber made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Afonso Baiano put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Diamantino Catarinense. Diamantino Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Afonso Baiano in the 67th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guará FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Villa Verde FC's Willian Vergílio got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guará FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
