The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Colosos Afc's Silvestre Unai got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 12th minute, Waldir Valladares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Colosos Afc's Prospero Ishmael shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Koko Duro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Colosos Afc reached it. Oscar Trevisan's late challenge caught a Colosos Afc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oscar Trevisan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Futuros FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Oscar Trevisan hit a great ball. Colosos Afc's Felix Satordi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Pimenta in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Atauri came free, but Koko Duro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes Futuros FC got a freekick which was hit by Jarbas Quirino. 28 minutes into the match, Oscar Trevisan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Felix Satordi. Colosos Afc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Oscar Trevisan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Cristobal Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Futuros FC's Marco Pimenta got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Colosos Afc's Silvestre Unai in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Juarês Marinho missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 48 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Felix Satordi right hand side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Trevisan to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Futuros FC's goalkeeper Koko Duro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Unai. After 63 minutes, Agnaldo Brasil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Futuros FC and the Colosos Afc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Agnaldo Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 66 minutes into the match, Jarbas Quirino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Colosos Afc's Felix Satordi. Felix Satordi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Colosos Afc made a substitution. Ezequiel Cordaro replaced Silvestre Unai. With his leg Koko Duro managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Colosos Afc's Ezequiel Cordaro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Futuros FC's goalkeeper Koko Duro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Koko Duro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Cordaro in the 90th minute of the match. Koko Duro was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Cristobal Atauri capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristobal Atauri really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Colosos Afc's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
