Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Vidal in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Camargo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 12 minutes into the match, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's goalkeeper Cafu Amaral had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fernando Barros. In the 13th match minute, LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Vágner Vidal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Igor Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vágner Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Alagoano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 30 minutes, Allan Félix mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF and the Villa Verde FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF booed when Villa Verde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudinei Duarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Villa Verde FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF:s goal. Villa Verde FC:s Igor Camargo showed great skill when he stopped Edmílson de Almeida:s penalty. In the 36th minute, Edmílson de Almeida ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Igor Camargo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF's Fernandinho Xavier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Marcus Nóbrega, made in the 42nd minute of the game. After the first half LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vágner Vidal made a kick off. When Edmílson de Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmílson de Almeida couldn't finish the play. Igor Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Vidal in the 57th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Luís Fernando Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cafu Amaral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villa Verde FC's Igor Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Vidal in the 65th minute of play. Fernandinho Xavier shot a long shot in the 71st minute and a light blocked Igor Camargo hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 1-3. A collision led to LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Washington Ceresso hit a great ball. In the 75th minute of the match Horácio Ceresso shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cafu Amaral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Villa Verde FC's goal looked a bit too open when José Maria da Costa came free, but Igor Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Luís Fernando Barros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cafu Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-4. Igor Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arthur Paraíba in the 88th minute of the match. Igor Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandinho Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Igor Camargo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vágner Vidal in the 95th minute. LOS PERNAMBUCANOS - FDFDF played a much better game than Villa Verde FC and deserved their victory. The Villa Verde FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
