Matamba Puredo hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Geovânio Quirino in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbes Astera, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Betão Pinheiro came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Urbes Astera could save by the left post. In the 24th minute, Timoteo Amigo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Blackblue United's Carlos-Alberto Urruchi got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Blackblue United's goalkeeper Urbes Astera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cláudio Taffarel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erick Caicedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Betão Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geovânio Quirino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Urbes Astera made a huge save. After 41 played minutes Geovânio Quirino rounded Blackblue United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 4-0. A collision led to Noroeste Paulista getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Cauã Borges hit a great ball. In the 45th minute of the match Carlos-Alberto Urruchi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cláudio Taffarel skillfully saved the ball. Raimundo Reis struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Urbes Astera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Noroeste Paulista. If Betão Pinheiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geovânio Quirino to strike the kick off in the second half. Jailson Penha kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Cláudio Taffarel acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 58th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Matamba Puredo. A collision led to Blackblue United getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Carlos-Alberto Urruchi hit a great ball. Erick Caicedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Taffarel having to interfere. Urbes Astera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovânio Quirino in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Noroeste Paulista's Raimundo Reis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbes Astera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. When Erick Caicedo came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Blackblue United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erick Caicedo couldn't finish the play. Noroeste Paulista's Franklin Vander was substituted for Geovânio Quirino. Timoteo Amigo in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cláudio Taffarel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Blackblue United's Urbes Astera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Vander in the 80th minute of play. When Timoteo Amigo came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Blackblue United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Amigo couldn't finish the play. After 86 played minutes Blackblue United got a freekick which was hit by Danny Salz. In the 87th minute, Franklin Vander got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noroeste Paulista's Franklin Vander got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 96th minute, Franklin Vander ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Urbes Astera was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. There was no doubt that Noroeste Paulista were the better team. Noroeste Paulista's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
