After 4 minutes, Cristian Eduino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mercado Paulista F.C and the Hockeysnubbarnas BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Pål Håkansson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 27th minute, Björn Lövskog left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hockeysnubbarnas BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Björn Lövskog in the 30th minute of play forced Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Diego Vargas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Armando Rosalio got free with Pål Håkansson in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pål Håkansson made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Armando Rosalio sent off a good shot on target. Luis Mancio struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Pål Håkansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mercado Paulista F.C. Cristian Eduino hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armando Rosalio made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Matai came free, but Pål Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Hockeysnubbarnas BK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Vilhelm Ek hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Albino Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Inocencio Matai during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 66th match minute, Mercado Paulista F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Matai to maneuver through the defense. Armando Rosalio hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Armando Rosalio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pål Håkansson. Hockeysnubbarnas BK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rosalio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Pål Håkansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Mancio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Hockeysnubbarnas BK's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Rosalio came free, but Pål Håkansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Rosalio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Björn Lövskog kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Pål Håkansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Rosalio's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 96 played minutes Mercado Paulista F.C got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Dodorol. For all the effort they put into the match, the Hockeysnubbarnas BK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Mercado Paulista F.C.
