With a couple of smart ball manuevers Armando Rosalio in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Horea Hurmuzache saved DINAMO from getting behind. Diego Vargas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Călin Feroiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filiberto Dodorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, George Martin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Martin got free with Diego Vargas in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Diego Vargas made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when George Martin sent off a good shot on target. 29 minutes into the match, Mercado Paulista F.C's goalkeeper Diego Vargas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ryszard Borcz. In the 35thth minute of the game Armando Rosalio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 37th minute of the match Mercado Paulista F.C got a corner. DINAMO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albino Asteri ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Albino Asteri almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache did a great save. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Ryszard Borcz took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Diego Vargas to make any attempt to save it. Horea Hurmuzache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Armando Rosalio's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute, Ryszard Borcz reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Diego Vargas. The goal made the score 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Armando Rosalio made the kick off in the second half. Horea Hurmuzache made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Armando Rosalio sent off a good shot on target. In the 90th minute, Petre Mineață ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Diego Vargas was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. In the 93rd minute Armando Rosalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horea Hurmuzache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mercado Paulista F.C defense, Ryszard Borcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Diego Vargas. The Mercado Paulista F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Vargas should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the DINAMO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
