When Segundo Ortzi came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the S4dm F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Segundo Ortzi couldn't finish the play. After 4 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Luca Horhoianu. Cristinel Trapcea's late challenge caught a S4dm F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristinel Trapcea helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of S4dm F.C. booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Trapcea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Leo Millano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cătălin Dăianu was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. 8 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Gai came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Cristinel Trapcea took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Elvio Florinio to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of S4dm F.C. booed when FC GURZUN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihail Ifrim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 18 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Marciano Gai came free, but Cătălin Dăianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. S4dm F.C.'s Elvio Florinio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristinel Trapcea in the 24th minute of play. Silvestre Goizeder lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Augustin Gorjanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Elvio Florinio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristinel Trapcea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Elvio Florinio made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Marciano Gai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cătălin Dăianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to S4dm F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Omar Errapel hit a great ball. Elvio Florinio made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Mihail Ifrim sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in FC GURZUN's zone, Segundo Ortzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Dăianu came out of the goal and Segundo Ortzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marciano Gai was the one to do the kick off. After 53 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Trapcea. Marciano Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Mihail Ifrim ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elvio Florinio was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Marciano Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Dăianu having to interfere. Iustinian Drăghincescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Florinio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristinel Trapcea in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute Cristinel Trapcea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Florinio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustinian Drăghincescu in the 95th minute of play forced S4dm F.C.'s goalkeeper Elvio Florinio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. S4dm F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
