Spectators: 7495 (Terracing: 5622, Seating: 1724, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augustin Gorjanu started the match with the kick off. Cătălin Dăianu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenaido Baz's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Zenaido Baz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ferdinand Brănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Zenaido Baz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Cătălin Dăianu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remus Sinulescu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cătălin Dăianu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenaido Baz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to ............ getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Renán Ester hit a great ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind ............'s goalkeeper Javier Aubets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. James Lezana might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cătălin Dăianu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. James Lezana ran back to his position shaking his head.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zenaido Baz to strike the kick off in the second half. When Remus Sinulescu fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC GURZUN's protests and gave Remus Sinulescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes FC GURZUN got a freekick which was hit by Remus Sinulescu. If Zenaido Baz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ............'s Javier Aubets played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augustin Gorjanu in the 71st minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Zenaido Baz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cătălin Dăianu. Zenaido Baz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. When Zenaido Baz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the ............ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zenaido Baz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC GURZUN getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ferdinand Brănescu hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in ............'s zone, Augustin Gorjanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Aubets came out of the goal and Augustin Gorjanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
