Spectators: 7488 (Terracing: 5617, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) North Port UTD's Vatan Akil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Nicu Arghirescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deniz Hasanbeyli in the 8th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Club Sportiv Medgidia's goal looked a bit too open when Vatan Akil came free, but Nicu Arghirescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, North Port UTD's Vatan Akil made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Arghirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 16 minutes, Augustin Horea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportiv Medgidia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augustin Horea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ştefan Alupulesei in the 17th minute of play forced North Port UTD's goalkeeper Arif Ozan Bolat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute Vatan Akil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicu Arghirescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The North Port UTD fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when North Port UTD's Vatan Akil looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Club Sportiv Medgidia booed when North Port UTD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birkan Sarik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Horea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Arif Ozan Bolat when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, North Port UTD's Fadıl Muhammed got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of North Port UTD booed when Club Sportiv Medgidia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Ungur didn't get a good kick on the ball.

In the 51st minute Ştefan Alupulesei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arif Ozan Bolat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicu Arghirescu came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by North Port UTD's Fadıl Muhammed. But to his dismay, Fadıl Muhammed quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Deniz Hasanbeyli's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicu Arghirescu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vatan Akil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Nicu Arghirescu made a huge save. Stelian Hulubei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arif Ozan Bolat having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Nicu Arghirescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ştefan Alupulesei in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arif Ozan Bolat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 89 minutes of play, North Port UTD's Deniz Hasanbeyli made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicu Arghirescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th minute, Deniz Hasanbeyli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vatan Akil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Nicu Arghirescu made a huge save. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched North Port UTD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
